Mistrust must be dealt with despite the fact that it may be among only a few. High trust must be developed for all. It is not enough to have most of the staff members committed to building a community of learners to support student learning. It takes only one rotten apple to spoil a bunch. Distrust and conflict do not remain stagnant, they grow and multiply. All staff members must be represented and supported to build trust in all.
